Description: Ipas Single-Valve Aspirator is a safe, effective and affordable medical device used for uterine evacuation up to 6 weeks gestation and endometrial biopsy. Manual Vacuum Aspiration (MVA) is the method of choice for uterine evacuation recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Inernational Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO). For uterine evacuation and endometrial biopsy (Miscarriage management; Induced or incomplete abortion up to 6 weeks since the woman’s last menstrual period) . Reusable up to 25 times where regulations allow . Cylinder marks in 10 cc increments to measure evacuated uterine contents . Provides a minimum vacuum of 24 inches or 609.6 mm which is maintained for at least 30 minutes . Provides a holding capacity of 60cc . Sterilized by standard cold methods, disassembled parts must be fully immersed in a 2% glutaralydehyde solution (Cidex or equivalent), 10 hours for Cidex or per manufacturer’s instructions . High level disinfected by standard cold methods, disassembled parts must be fully immersed: 0.5% Chlorine solution for 20 minutes, 2% glutaralydehyde solution (Cidex or equivalent), per manufacturer’s instructions .
