It is used as barrier ointment by providing a Layer of oil on the surface of the skin to prevent water evaporating from the skin surface.White Soft Paraffin: It is a soft paraffin wax of white or colorless soft solid derivable from petroleum,coal or oil shale that consist of a mixture of hydrocarbon molecules containing between twenty and forty carbon atoms.Liquid Paraffin: it is a very high refined mineral oil used in cosmetic and for medical purposes.Hard Paraffin:It is a white to off white crystalline purified mixture use in cosmetic creams,ointments and petroleum jelly.Dosage: For best results use at least twice a day.
