Description: Meiji FMT is an infant formula recommended for age 0-6 months. Meiji FMT is fortified with DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) which plays a vital role in brain and retinal development of infants. Meiji FMT includes Milk-phospholipids to promote concentration of DHA in the body. Meiji FMT contains a balanced ratio of a-linolenic acid (omega-3) and linoleic acid (omega-6), which are the precursors of docosahexaenioc acid (DHA) and arachidonic acid (ARA), respectively, and vital for cerebral and retinal development . Meiji FMT contains nucleotides, which are present in mother’s milk, and are considered to strengthen the immune system. Meiji FMT contains FOS (Fructo-oligosachharides) which can be utilized by intestinal bifidobacteria in infants and promotes growth of good bacteria.
