Traditional perfumery requires the blender to separately source cosmetic-grade ethanol, measure fixative carriers such as DPG or IPM, and calibrate the blend ratio before even adding a single fragrance ingredient. Perfume Premix eliminates this complexity by delivering a pre-balanced, spray-ready base that performs reliably from the first batch. It draws on the same foundational chemistry used in commercial fine fragrance manufacturing, scaled and simplified for home and small-studio use.

What makes Perfume Premix particularly useful is its neutrality and versatility. The base has been formulated to remain odor-transparent, meaning it will not compete with, distort, or mask the fragrance you add to it. The carrier component integrated into the base improves the way fragrance molecules bind to the alcohol matrix, which translates into better projection, smoother dry-down, and a less harsh skin feel compared to raw alcohol alone. Usage & Guidelines

Fine Fragrance (EDP / EDT / Body Mist)

Perfume Premix is purpose-built for this application. At 20–25% fragrance loading you achieve an EDP-strength result; at 10–15% the result is closer to EDT or body mist. It is the core intended use case and the base performs exactly as expected in this context.

Attar and Oriental Blending

Perfume Premix works well as an alcohol carrier for attar-forward or oriental accords. Attars and heavy resinous compounds dilute cleanly in the base. Note that very thick, high-viscosity attar concentrates may require gentle warming before mixing for full homogenisation.

Home Fragrance (Room Spray / Linen Spray)

The base is suitable for alcohol-based room and linen sprays. Add fragrance at 5–15% for a light to moderate room spray. The clean base character ensures no background odor in the finished product.

Gift and Small Batch Production

Perfume Premix is ideal for small-batch gift making, craft markets, and personal gifting. It removes the need for precise multi-ingredient measurement and delivers a consistent, professional result every time.

Cosmetics and Skin Application Products

The base can be used in alcohol-based cologne splashes and after-shave formulations. It is not designed as a leave-on moisturising base and prolonged undiluted skin contact should be avoided. Performance is adequate for rinse-adjacent or splash applications.
