Paya Masala is a traditional South Asian spice blend carefully formulated to bring out the authentic flavors of slow-cooked trotters (paya). Known for its hearty, nutritious, and deeply flavorful qualities, paya is a delicacy enjoyed across households, especially during festive occasions or family gatherings.
This masala combines a perfect mix of cumin, coriander, red chili, black pepper, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric, and other aromatic herbs, ensuring a well-balanced flavor that enhances the natural richness of the meat. It allows the trotters to cook slowly and absorb the full depth of the spices, resulting in tender, flavorful, and aromatic paya curry.
Paya Masala makes it easy to recreate restaurant-quality paya dishes at home. Whether you prefer goat, lamb, or beef trotters, this spice blend guarantees a rich, savory, and deeply satisfying curry that captures the traditional taste of South Asian cuisine.
