Chiltan Pure Baking powder is a versatile leavening agent just like baking soda, which is used in bakery goods to create carbon dioxide on the batter and to make bread, dough, and pastries fluffy and soft. Baking powder is a combination of baking soda as a base and a moisture absorber like corn starch and a weak acid.
