Take one cup of the Haleem mix and give it a quick rinse.
In a large pot or pressure cooker, sauté your meat (beef, mutton, or chicken) with onions, ginger-garlic paste, and your preferred Haleem spices. Add the rinsed daal mix to the pot along with 4-5 cups of water (adjust for desired thickness).
Pressure cook for 6-7 whistles or simmer on the stove for about 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meat is fall-apart tender and the daal is completely soft. Once cooked, use a wooden spoon or a heavy whisk to vigorously mash and blend the mixture for at least 5-10 minutes.
